What about the
FREE Gold Plating Systems?
There is a new development on the Internet which
is where one or more companies offers to give away a so-called FREE gold plating system if you
will simply purchase a quantity of gold plating solution from them and or a few
supplies.
At first this sounds to good to be true, and, of
course, it is.
One of the companies claims to have a power
supply / rectifier they custom make at a retail price of $700.
However, if you look closely at the image they
have had on their web site, the image is the same one they have had for years, the
power supply is the PYRAMID PS-26KX 25 amp power supply.

At a current price of $155, we make a profit, which makes
the claim of the so-called $700 price a high price, not a true value.
So, the so-called FREE $700 power supply is
really a $155 power supply. Then you pay a substantial amount of additional money "$630"
for the
"other supplies" they sell you. If you are just starting out, you will
need to purchase the other accessory package which raises the TOTAL PRICE for
their FREE MACHINE OFFER and Accessory Package to $670.
Paying $670 does not make anything FREE.
Plus, we offer more, and we prove it on the list
of exactly what we include in our 25 amp Gold Plating System for only $965. Even
with an upgrade in gold plating solution, which will gold plate hundreds of
average sized scripts and emblems, our price is only $75 more and we provide more
for your money.
As a side note, you should consider going to the
30 AMP MOBILE GOLD PLATING System since it is lighter for you to carry about and
we find it offers more bang for your buck. It is only $995.
What you need to do is to look at exactly what you are getting
for the money, you see that you get very little for the money on a so-called
FREE gold plating system.
Plus you are required to purchase additional gold
plating solutions, at their set rate of $100 every 4 months. Is that FREE or a
time payment plan?
As a side note, we understand some companies are
suggesting that you rinse off their TWO STEP CHEMICAL PROCESS of chrome stripper and nickel activator with a
garden hose. That makes sense when you have a HIGH ACID content in the chrome
stripper/nickel activator chemical like they do. The point of telling people to
rinse off with a garden hose means it takes a lot of water to dilute and rinse
off the ACID in their chemicals to keep from causing damage to the paint.
With the high quality THREE STEP CHEMICAL PROCESS offered
by American Gold, there is no problem with damage to the paint so there is no
need to have a garden hose to rinse off our chemicals. A simple trigger sprayer
does a fine job.
Besides, toting a long garden hose from site to
site, as the so-called FREE System vendor claims adds to the work, along with the connecting and draining the garden hose at
each job, I bet water will leak into your vehicle as you drive from one place to
another as well.
It is not necessary to use a "garden
hose" with our top quality system.
