PLEASE NOTE: The ADVANCE LEVEL is many pages long. It is hard to read
information from a computer monitor. American Gold suggests you print these pages and read
them from paper. This will give you a copy for future reference as well.
At an ADVANCED LEVEL you already know about
Gold Plating and probably have a machine already.
If your machine is working for you, we are
happy to hear that and fully encourage you to make use of it to make money.

Please be advised, we offer an assortment
of chemicals for Gold Plating. Even if you are satisfied with your present supplier, we
respectfully suggest you may benefit from having an alternative source. We have an
assortment of solutions with discounts for volume.
The idea of stating top quality seems like
such a wasted statement. Everyone claims to have TOP QUALITY.
The only way you can know our quality is to
get a sample from us. If you would like a sample of our gold plating solution, please call
us.
As a side
note, the gold in the three grades we supply is all the same gold, only the
amount of gold in the solution changes. As a result, even with our gold plating
solution, you are not going to see a difference in the end result of the
gold on the plated piece. However, if you keep records as we do, you will see
that the three grades of our gold plating solution does do different amounts of
gold plated pieces. That is the value of the BEST grade versus the other grades.
If your present equipment could use an
UP-GRADE, we can offer you several different gold plating machines in assorted AMPS. The
higher the amps, the larger reserve capacity you have.

As a MONEY MAKING SUGGESTION.
- Always remember, you and your employees have
to TELL THE CONSUMER you offer GOLD PLATING.
- And then, always remember, you have to ASK
THE CONSUMER if they want the scripts on their vehicle turned to gold.
It is a common assumption of people working
in a place of business that the consumer sees the advertisements and knows the business
offers a special service, like gold plating.
It is an example that FAMILIARITY of the
showroom and services offered by the company, makes the employees believe the consumer
sees the advertising and would ask for gold plating if they wanted gold plating.
The reality is different.
- The consumer is not familiar with your
showroom.
- The consumer can walk right past or stand
next to a sign explaining that you offer gold plating (or other services) and not see it.
Because I see the contact between the
consumer and the store from a different perspective, I see this take place time after
time. Plus, I hear comments like "I don't see (an item), lets go to" and the
store lost a sale they might have made.
Some companies in the Auto Parts Stores
develop a computer screen PROMPT to have the auto parts sales clerk ask the customer is
they need ANTIFREEZE and HOSE CLAMPS when they sell a radiator hose or heater hose.
As obvious as it should be to the clerk
selling the radiator hose that the consumer is likely to need both ANTIFREEZE and NEW
CLAMPS when they purchase a radiator hose, it is not so obvious to the auto parts sales
clerk.
As much as people believe they know their
business, they, or their employees, can lose a sales opportunity because they do not tell
consumers what they have NEW to offer and to questions the consumer if they would like
that service.
Pick a SUGGESTION ITEM of the month.
- One month tell everyone about GOLD PLATING.
- Next month, tell everyone about another
service you offer.
- The following month, tell everyone about
another service and so on.
As you do this, track the sales of the
month's promoted item and see the actual sales results.
Also, consider promoting a "PRODUCT OF
THE MONTH by mail. You do this by building a mailing list of your customers. If you need
