EXCLUSIVE TERRITORIES
From conversations with people
who have looked over assorted Web Sites, there is, apparently, some company
selling Gold Plating Systems and offering some sort of an EXCLUSIVE TERRITORY.
Is this possible?
Technically, this is one of the
so-called TRICK QUESTIONS.
The company doing the selling of
the Gold Plating System (which I expect is quite pricey to start with) may have
some limited control over the geography in which they sell. Meaning they could
agree not to sell to another person who lives in the same COUNTY and or ZIP CODE
as you do. However, that is no exclusive. Also, there would not seem to be much
you could do if a person from another COUNTY and or ZIP CODE came into your
COUNTY and or ZIP CODE and started selling to your customers.
Plus, there are all sorts of
companies offering Gold Plating Systems on the Internet. Even if a company
agreed to not sell to another person in your county or ZIP CODE, nothing stops
the other Gold Plating Systems vendors from selling 20 other people in your
so-called exclusive COUNTY or ZIP CODE. This pretty much makes a so-called
exclusive a minimal value.
In Gold Plating Systems, we are
not talking about a business venture where you are going to build an expensive
FRANCHISEE OPERATION like a McDonald's or Burger King. While I am not aware of
what it takes to start a McDonald's or a Burger King, I am sure there is a hefty
Franchise Fee as well as a cost of construction that probably reaches $250,000
and more.
Getting a gold plating business
going for under $1,000, or even if you spend more to get a so-called exclusive,
it is not like starting a McDonald's or a Burger King.
The reason that I keep referring
to a McDonald's or a Burger King is simple. Whenever you find a McDonald's
location, you are logically going to find a Burger King location too. We have
both in Coldwater, Michigan. Most larger cities have both.
There is a growing number of the
MINI McDonald's popping up and I see them all over. however, the cost to put one
up and staff it is large in comparison to going into the Gold Plating Business.
Basically, there is essentially
NO VALUE in paying anything extra for the EXCLUSIVE to a non exclusive type
business operation.
