GOLD PLATING SMALL PARTS

If I were doing a number of small items, such as coins, I would set up a small spot and put a plastic dishpan filled about 1/2 way with water in it. That way I would have a place to put the coins as I am in the process of working them. 

As an example, I am left handed so it might make sense for me to put all of the coins in on the left side of the drain pan. I would pick one up and do that processing step on that coin and then put the coin back into the right side of the drain pan. 

After I finish doing that step on all of the coins, I could rotate the drain pan 180 degrees. That would put all of the items back on the left side again.

Then I would start up the next step for each of the coins and repeat the process. And so on. The idea of the dish pan of water is that the coins can sit in the water while I am working on the rest of the group to get the whole job done.
