When I buy a Gold Plating system, am I buying a BUSINESS?

NOT LIKELY.

This FAQ answer does not mean you can not buy a business. You can. However, if you are going to buy a business, such as a local Hardware Store, the business itself will have an accumulated value based on existing tangible / physical business assets, such as THE PROPERTY (if any) in terms of Real Estate, STORE FIXTURES, EXISTING / REPEAT CUSTOMERS, INVENTORY, and so on. In addition, you purchase the intangible assets of the STORE NAME and ACCUMULATED GOOD WILL.

There is a big difference between BUYING AN EXISTING ESTABLISHED AND ONGOING BUSINESS with substantial and tangible assets and buying Gold Plating Equipment so you can go into a business of Gold Plating.

This seems obvious to us, and it is probably obvious to you as well. However, this FAQ came up as a result of a story a new customer passed on to us.

Our new customer had shopped the Internet and got to see a number of vendors offering Gold Plating systems at assorted prices. At some LIVE Show, a person attempted to sell our new customer a Gold Plating System by telling the potential buyer that the reason the price was so high on the system they had was that the potential buyer would be BUYING A BUSINESS.

At that time, the person who became our customer realized he WAS NOT BUYING A BUSINESS and the only thing he would really be buying, and actually getting, was the Gold Plating Equipment and some supplies. Shortly after the LIVE Show encounter, the person called us and started as a new customer with us.

You need to be careful not to get cough up in the idea of GOLDEN DREAMS.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to make the distinction of exactly what you will get from whatever vendor you eventually purchase from. Without going into exactly who provides exactly what items in the different Gold Plating systems, the overriding point must be what you are actually buying.

Unless you are buying AN EXISTING ESTABLISHED AND ONGOING GOLD PLATING BUSINESS where you can see the books and know the value of the business, what you are actually buying is just the equipment and supplies so you can go and build your business.

This Web Site is specifically aimed at focusing on the aspect of you buying a Gold Plating machine that has the potential to make you money and give you the opportunity to start a business.

Buying the equipment is not buying a business.

As an individual, once you finally purchase a Gold Plating system, the responsibility to generate business and INCOME, falls to you to go and get the business THAT EXISTS IN YOUR AREA by working at it.

You ARE NOT BUYING A BUSINESS when you are buying a Gold Plating system from us or from anyone else.

Our Gold Plating system is a good quality system that makes money for our customers who work at selling the actual Gold Plating.

Even with all of the Gold Plating systems I have sitting in the warehouse, and my DEMONSTRATOR Gold Plating system in my van. I do not make money by simply owning them.

The people we have as customers are making money with gold plating because they are going out and making contacts to do Gold Plating.

Purchasing a NEW or USED Gold Plating System from ANYONE at ANY PRICE is not buying a business.

You can purchase an ONGOING Gold Plating business.

However, anyone selling Gold Plating equipment & Supplies at a SHOW or BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY EXPO is probably not attempting to sell an ongoing business with existing and REPEAT CUSTOMERS.

An ONGOING Gold Plating BUSINESS would have THE GOLD PLATING EQUIPMENT and SUPPLIES, PROPERTY (if any), EXISTING CUSTOMERS, ACCUMULATED GOOD WILL and so on. In addition, a complete set of BOOKS showing the Profit & Loss Statement and so on. In this type of purchase, it is just about the same as buying a local Hardware Store because you will be able to go over the books and track historical PROFIT as well as clearly establishing the existing customer base and so on.
